’58 Chevrolet Del Ray "Passion Wagon"

  This model started life as a  AMT ’58 Chevy Impala Coupe. Modifications consist of :A LOT OF WORK! and a lesion learned in using all in one body putty,  because no matter how long you leave it dry, it still shrinks, even weeks afterwards. I now use "Evercoat" 2part polyester putty. Anyway back to what was done to this puppy. I made the mold and cast  the roof and tail section. Scratch built the rear  of the  interior and grafted it to the box stock front section, it’s lined with upholstery material from the fabric store, made my own fuzzy dice and even put a parts box "doggie" in the back. It has a box 409 fully wired, with fuel , brake lines, battery cables and so on. The passion wagon  graphics are made from my computer. The finish on it is "Ruby Red Slippers" nail polish, with a clear coat of pearl over it.
