Mercury Woody Wagon Slammer

   This Merc started life as a AMT 49 Mercury Sedan. It’s a curb side slammer, meaning no motor or interior. I made a mold of the roof and tail section from the Revell ’53 Chevy Panel and reworked it to fit the Merc., chopped the top, slanted the B Pillars and made a opening for the windows. Made the Buick side trim & covered them with foil. Frenched the head and tail lights (tail lights from a ’59 Caddy). Pancaked the hood, molded the top grill section and turned it upside down for the grill opening. Parts box moon roof, lake pipes, wheels & grille. Molded my own skirts and used wood grain contact  for the base and trim.
